Basking Ridge, New Jersey - Fellowship Village, a non-profit continuing care retirement community that includes long term care services in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, announced recently the adoption of a new program to ensure the safety and security of its residents. Titled Operation: Guardian Angel, the program educates Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in methods of detecting abuse/neglect, how to report cases, and other resident care issues. Upon graduation from the program, CNAs sign a Pledge and are given their Guardian Angel pins.

The Guardian Angel Program is an initiative of the National Association Directors of Nursing Administration/Long Term Care (NADONA/LTC). Fellowship Village in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, is one of 12 nursing facilities to pilot this national program. NADONA/LTC is a non-profit national association for directors, assistant directors and RN nurse managers in long term care facilities.
